One of my partners asked that I ask to see if anyone can recommend a gunsmith who specializes in the Ruger DBL action revolvers for work,(not rapairs). His is a .480,
9 1/2".

Not sure what your friend wants done, or how long he can wait, but Hamilton Bowen is a master working with the Redhawk. Might try Dave Clements also.
