I've heard some conflicting reports on these. This one has a 10" barrel.
I have about 2 5 gallon buckets of .38 and .357 brass, so it almost make sense to get the gun.

I would be willing to believe that gun will get to shooting pretty good after you load and shoot all of the brass you are talking about.
