The Leopard took a tad over 2 weeks, but it was all worth the effort:





Taking the Hippo in deep water means a long range brain shot -- a lot harder than it looks. LOL






When you get bored with life, start hunting dangerous game with a handgun.

I'll get around to the details of the hunt as soon as I catch up a bit from being away for a month. But, to hold you over, I had intended to shoot both of the DG species with a 338, but had some minor trouble with the gun and switched to the wildcat 378GNR -- basically the ballistic equivalent of the 375 H&H -- 58gr of RE-15 behind a 260gr Accubond -- at around 2350fps.
