sputsterIn my book, Springfield Armory. But there are also the Auto-Ordnance M1911A1's. I believe Numrich Arms is their marketer.

Savage308The Springfield is a very good buy. I just purchased one last year and I am very happy with it. Accurate enough, price was right at $400, and not one malfunction to date with ball or hollowpoint ammo. All I've done is replace the grips with some real nice wood. Good luck!
