bullets for the 454 Long
I'm having cast bullets made in the follow weights:
490gr. GC
420gr. Gc
360gr. Keith GC.

I have tryed as heavy as 500 grs by sizing down .458 dia bullets in my Encore 454 .
I found if you lube the bullets before sizing down to .452 the lube groves don't fill in with lead .

After lots of playing , I have stuck with 340 gr bullet as my heavy bullet

The 454 Long is a case that is 1.6 in length. The pressures aren't as high as the 454 casull.

the 420 and 360 will also be used in a new 45 cartridge I have coming out.
