There is a gentleman over on Rugerforum asking about reloading one and I figure someone here has played with one and can share some loads.

I think of BFR .30-30's as "the phantom gun".
Over the years, I've seen a couple of posts from guys who said they had "ordered one". I've always asked for follow-up posts on how they performed, but have yet to see any.
I travel in a pretty wide circle of hangunners, but have still never shot or even seen one. Not one.
I've always been curious about case set-back and other performance velocity / accuracy issues. Hopefully you'll get some knowledgeable responses.

I would like to give one a try...just because.

I have seen BFRs in 30/30 for sale on Gunbroker.com recently but that is my first knowledge of their existence.

Sports South shows them when I do a search of Magnum Research. There are none in stock at the moment. FWIW, they also went up another $50 since last week when I was checking for a 500 JRH.
