Re: Walther TPH
Pecos, the TPH's failure in DA mode is related to the linkage. I can take the grips off and push in on it and it "fires", but won't let the hammer completely fall unless it is so.

Several people I respect on boards over the years have reported trouble with the "American" TPH's like mine. It's a fine little "trail gun" and has killed a lot of pine cones, but I wouldn't carry it for defence unless I couldn't find one of the other guns.

It's long enough that it doesn't fit in my jeans pocket, whereas some other pistols do, including Smith J frame .38's (not .357's).

WWHunter, at the prices for the Kel-Tecs, a guy can buy more than one without too much pain! I guess I might eventually buy a 3-AT, but I like the .32 so much I'm in no hurry. Also, in that barrel length, I don't think there's too much of a gain, if any. But at that level, any change is probably an improvement.

Good comments, guys. Thanks for the feedback. It is the American Walther TPH I was thinking about. Will check out some other options.
