I have not been able to mount my Accudot on this gun because the rings are too close. I only find one red dot that will fit and that is the Millet. Not having enough money for this scope and a new set of rings, I sent to Brownells for a Weigand Combat base that converts it to Weaver rings. The number is 957-000-045. It is made for the Redhawk and fits the hunter perfectly. Now I can mount anything on the gun.
Of course, being out of money, I am stuck with the cheap aluminum Tasco rings for a while until I can get some "Z" rings or something.
This base is beautiful.
