Pag.243 a difficult load ?
Accurate Powder states "Unlike the .308, the .243 can be a difficult cartridge to load with "faster" propellants." How has your real world experience been? Have a favorite load for the .243 ?
What are you shooting? firearm, bullet, powder ?

Swede44magThe .243 I had was no more difficult to load than any other rifle cartridge. I use boat tail bullets and chamfer the inside of the cartridge. For loading data I use three different loading manuals if they all list the powder I want to use I consider it and work up from starting charge until I get a load that is accurate in my rifle. What works for one rifle may or may not be a good choice in another of the same caliber. I tried H335 that was listed in the Nosler loading manual using a between starting charge and max. It was so hot I had to force the bolt open this is why I now have so many reloading manuals to work from.

PagThanks .... I will certainly consider doing the same! Depending on one source ..... as you pointed out .... is probably not the best course of (action) .... pun intended !
