The reason for the 10" T/C barrel was for velocity comparisons with a longer barrel not that the load was to hot for semi-auto's. I have a 18.5" T/C Contender carbine barrel that I also use and if for some reason I get a little to hot for my G20 or Colt Delta Elite during load developement, I use them in my T/C only. Saves me from having to pull them apart.
