Lar4510/22 Pistol?
I've been seeing pistol length barrels and pistol grip stocks for the 10/22 on Ebay.
Has Ruger or anyone else ever made a 10/22 Pistol? I haven't heard of any. I wonder if Ruger would even sell just the action to build a pistol on?? Sounds like a quick trip to jail to me.

just say moeOther mfg make 10/22 recievers, but using one to make a pistol is probably illegal. The link mentions the NFA rules for SBR (short barreled rifle). Unless you have a class 1 license AVIOD!!

CollinsNot true. You just have to register the receiver as a pistol WITHOUT it EVER having been a rifle. so, buy a receiver and treat it like a pistol, short barrel, pistol grip, all the right papers for your state and you're in business.
Same thing with Contenders, G2's and Encores.

Lar45That's an awsome looking 22 pistol, but $972 is a big chunk of change.
