Ultraman, I love my 445 supermag Dan Wesson. For your problem I see is that you have the finger grooved wood style grips. They hurt but look great. I have the hogue rubber grips and can say I don't experience any problems at all and find the 445 supermag pleasant to shoot for about 40-50 rounds then the uncle mikes gloves come out. Get the rubber grips that dan wesson uses and sells and you will have no more problems I promise you.
