I didnt know the Indian scouts were given nickle plated arms for extra protection.... Will the recoil of the 45LC be about like a 44spl.?I have fired the 45ACP but never a long colt....

It's a nice looking handgun! The 45 Colt in factory loadings is about like a .44 spl with regards to recoil. But, it can be loaded quite a bit heavier!
