It is a nice looking pistol but I can imagine that the grips would be like holding a 2x4.

Desert Eagle makes a 50AE and it is not as expensive.

I don�t have a need for one of theirs either.

My Kimber 45acp is powerful enough.

Swede, Greetings! READ the website: the external dimensions are IDENTICAL to a 1911 45acp, thin grip and all. They hog out the gripframe internally to make room for the wider mag and rounds. It is a low pressure round, and does not batter the frame etc.

Sir I stand corrected about the grip size. It does indeed sound like a pistol I would like to have. The only problem is convincing the wife to buy it for me.

If HK would make a USP or SOCOM in one and get the price down a bit from what they want, I would be all over that like a duck on a June Bug.
