<cyberhick>point of aim
I have been reloading for my Python for quite a while. I have recently changed the orginal grips to Hogue combat rubber grips and then my point of impact went up about 8-10 inches at 25yds with 158gr loads. I want to carry this concealed, but i dont want to be shooting that high. I was wondering if i should load a heavier (170-180gr) or a lighter bullet (125-149gr)? I would like to load Speer Gold Dots, so i hope it would be best to go down to 125gr (they only come in 125 and 158gr). Thanks.

<dr280>cyber-
load the lighter bullet and your point of impact will drop. the lighter bullet is traveling faster, faster= flatter trajectory. see my post about my superblackhawk shooting high. I dropped to 200 grain xtp's and impact dropped 6 inches at 50 yards.

<SlimL>Have you changed your grip any? I am not talking about the the new parts of your gun either. How tight you grip the thing and where the hold is has a lot of effect on point of impact. Slim
