I am putting a Leupold FX-II 2x20mm scope on my S&W 629 Classic. I've never put a scope on a handgun before. What type of mount should I buy that will hold up to shooting heavy loads? Can someone point me in the right direction? Is this one any good? http://www.jackweigand.com/swhpmnt.html

I have had excellent results using the WARNE MOUNT on my 500 S&W. Warne was recommended by S&W.

I can't do pics here, but if I could I'd show you my S&W .44 Mag 629 Classic w/ 8 3/8" barrel. It wears a 2x20 Nikon scope (stainless to match the gun) on a Buehler mount w/ 2 rings.
