Anyone hunt from a climbing stand,if so what brand and model, and why do you like it?I am thinking about a Summit Viper climbing set up,but haven't messed with climbers in a long time.

MS HitmanI usually just hunt from the ground. It's safer for me when I am hunting with one of my FA revolvers and drinking from the matching flask.
Seriously though, Ol' Man brand seems to be popular around here.

I have a Ruger flask and it is not nearly as precision nor as good looking as the FA flask. I can live with its shortcomings but would appreciate it if you didn't rub it in.

MS HitmanSounds like "flask envy" to me; but I will refrain from further cork sniffing.

Redhawk1I have used the Summit climbers for many years.. Now I use ladders stands from time to time, but more than anything else, I hunt from the ground in a self made blind.. Getting too old, and falling seems to hurt more..

If you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.

Seasons44I purchassed a summit viper alum. last year for bow season and it was a joy to climp with. My only recomendation is don't buy the steel frame spend the extra for alum. It makes an easier stand to walk long distances.
