Better lock work in the BFR custom shop guns then the stock guns?
Hi
Someone mentioned the lock work on the BFR custom shop guns was different then the stock guns. Here I am talking short cylindered guns.

Anyone confirm, deny, or have information on this?

Also, what tricks have you used to shoot better as your eyes age, and you need reading glasses?

Thanks

For me, red dot all the way......Ultradot 30 -- one of the best firearms related investments I have ever made.

All standard Ruger parts on the inside save for the hand being modified for a five-shot free-wheeling cylinder. The custom shop guns have a massaged trigger.

Any tips on shooting with glasses and open sites?

I can't see putting a scope on my guns...

It's not a scope, Greg. It's a red dot and it may not be asthetically pleasing, but it will work like a charm. And, if you start hunting, you will see how well it works under all conditions, particularly low-light. Just really hard to beat for function.
