blackbearhunter32 smith & wesson
shot my new S&W 32 long today.Man that baby is sweet and fun .Do any of you guys ever shoot one just for kicks? Are they easy to reload for and what jacket bullet would you recommend? The factory stuff is really expensive for such a small round.I know she sure is a fun no-recoil round to plink with though and accurate to boot!Glad i found one for sale they dont make them no more and noone ever seems to want to get rid of one on the used pistol rack. Can i also shoot the smaller 32S&W round that is not the long case? That round looks like it would be perfect for teaching kids to shoot a pistol or the wife if she never shot much.Should make a great little snake pistol for trout fishing or just hikeing the boon docks...........Thanks in advance.

MS HitmanMost of my .32 shooting is done with 100 grain cast swc and small doses of HP38. I would recommend you go with the XTPs if using jacketed. I have killed a many an armadillo with mine. Both are small and easily carried in a pocket.

LocoweedI've got a S&W 3rd Model Hand Ejector in .32 Long and with a three inch barrel. I haven't shot it in a really long time but your posting reminded how sweet it really was to shoot. I've got the dies, I think, so ought to load up a few and put the pistol back into action. It will also shoot the little short .32 S&W cartridge and Midway sells Winchester brass in .32 S&W. I don't think .32 S&W can loaded up in .32 Long dies.

MS HitmanNo, but I load .32 mag with .32 S&W dies. I have the Hand Ejector myself. It was my great-grandmother's.
