Lloyd Smalewhat he said. Lil gun is known to cause throat errosion especially with relitively light jacketed bullets. I used it quite a bit before i knew this and to be honest i never did get exceptional accuracy with it anyway. I will give highter muzzle velocitys then about any handgun powder though.

MS HitmanI tried some after it first came out. Never could get the velocities as high as 296. I third what Jim and Lloyd said.

jwp475H-110/296 is never a bad idea and is difficult if not impossable to beat when all of the factors are considered

N E 450 No2I have always used Unique for low to mid range loads, 2400 for warmer to full power loads, especially with lead bullets, and also for my 4" gun, and H 110 for full power loads.
With Unique and 240 cast bullets my loads range from 7 gr to 9,2gr.
With 2400 [old] for a long time I used 22.5gr with my hard cast or 240gr jacketed.
Later I dropped down to 22, and now I usually just load 21gr of 2400 with my cast bullet.
With H 110 I loaded 24 grains with my cast bullets or 240 jacketed.
I used both 2400 and H 110 loads in my Ruger Carbine with good results.
These loads have worked so well I have not found a reason to change.
I did use some SR 4756 for mid range loads, a fella gave me two 4 lb kegs once. When it ran out I went back to Unique
Also somebody gave me a can or two of 296 but I have not loaded any of it.
I do think that H110 and 296 are some of the best powders for heavier bullets with full power loads.
Once upon a time I loaded some 180 Sierra HP over 31 gr of H 110.
I shot a rabbit with it at about 30 yards, all that was left was some skin, skull, and the feet.

I went back to 240gr bullets.
