NEJackA great find
I was in the Iowa City Scheel's last weekend, and saw a Leupold FXII 4x28MM marked at $150.
Now, at first I couldn't believe my eyes. But I went to my dear bride and said "I know what I would like for Father's Day!".
She said ok, and I asked the clerk to take the scope out of the case. He looked at the tag, turned white, and ran to get his manager (which I can understand).
The manager came back and said that since that was the price that was marked and in the system, I could have it for that. He also said I should buy a lottery ticket since it was obviously my lucky day, and that they lost at least $100 on that scope.
So now I have a new scope for my .454! And hats off to the Scheel's store staff. If they would have said "Sorry, that is marked wrong." I would not have held it against them.
