Yeah! Stay away from the "shoe tactic!"

One trick I learned is this; my gun cabinet (for rifles) holds ten. When I get a new one I put one that was in there someplace else so I "always have ten!"

The pistolas reside in another cabinet that doesn't have glass doors.

I tried the old "But honey, I bought this for you" routine, I didn't get the .22 back for three years. She still shoots that gun more than anything.

Anyway, I agree with others, if your bills are paid and everyone is comfortable what's the harm? My wife knows this is my great passion in life and it keeps me happy.
