How is the weaver scope mount system , i went with the 3 ring ssk for my 44, but wanted to try the weaver for my .22 ruger single six . i just ordered onde and was wondering if any of you guys used them . I figured the low recoil of a 22 would be fine with this mount as it clamps to the barrel.

For the 22 cal, any mount would work just fine. The clamp type system should be sufficient for your small Ruger. The SSK 3 rings mount system is for the heavy duty stuff and it would be way too heavy for your little Ruger. Good luck. Cheers! Ming
