Ruger 22 sights ....Bo-Mar or Volquartsen?
Looking at replacing rears on a few 5.5" Mark 2's.

I have experience with BoMars and like them.

Read somewhere that the owner died a couple of years back, and Midway does not carry them, could not find in Brownells, will try calling them direct on Monday. Always liked the BoMars but heard good things about the Volq.

The ones I have, I have had a while. So that very well may be the case. Try some of the handgun metallic silhouette websites and see if the BoMars are still available.

I've put Bowen Target rear sights on 3 Mark II Rugers. They are excellent, with finer increments than the Bowens I have on a number of revolvers. Fully the equal of a BoMar.

I have Bowen's on my Ruger conversions (45, 475, 500, 50 AK,etc) and they are truely an excelent sight.

Looked them up, nice, but I had some 'sticker shock' so think I'll go with my first two choices for my application, but thanks again.
