Scoped or not?(pic)
Any body else use a scope on a Pistol? If so is it a red dot or a teloscopic scope. Mine is a 2x TruGlo redot. That little bit of magnififcation really helps. I am going to florida this Next month to visit family and hunt Piggies. This is the gun I am taking. but for now it has only been a deer blaster.

So far, the ones I do have scoped wear telescopic sights. Have not gotten into red dots yet.

If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

My BFR in 500 Mag wears a Ultra-dot, my S&W 460 Mag wears a Match-dot by Ultra-dot and my second 460 Mag wears a Bushnell 2X6X32MM scope. My S&W 629P wears a Millet Red-dot and my Encore in 454 Casull wears a Bushnell 2X6X32mm also. I am getting ready to send in my 454 Encore barrel to have it rechampered to 460 Mag. Big Grin

If you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.

I use a 2x Burris on a 10 inch 357 magnum Contender barrel with good success. Years ago I played with the original Aimpoint on 22 and 44 magnum Contender barrels. It worked fine but the red dots these days are much nicer, especially those with a strap to hold on to the battery cap.

My TRB .44 with 8 3/8" barrel has a 2x Leupold M8 and my S&W model 41 has a BSA red dot.

I have a ruger bisley 45colt and a ruger redhawk 45 colt both have 2x scopes on them and a contender in 7-30 waters with a 2-6 power scope

my idea of gun control is a firm grip
