I'm just passing this on. I have no dog in this hunt. I saw this posted on Texasguntrader.com, Austin area. A guy has a 1976 4" S+W model 28-2 P+R who wants to trade even for a 1911. I agree with the added weight issue. The 357 doesn't need an N frame. I'm perfectly happy with my model 19 on the K frame. I do love the older S+Ws though.
