Pecos41Smith & Wesson
Speaking of Smith, I looked at their website last week and was surprised to learn they have been bought out AGAIN. Only this time they were bought out by the good guys and not the gutless dogs who sold the company down the river to the Clintoon administration.
There is a very good letter on the website addressing Smith and Clintoon and past S&W policies. I think all us pistol fans should read the letter and rejoice. It sounds to me like Smith & Wesson is back!
Everyone may already know this, but I didn't. Sorry if I'm cheering about old news.

Magnum MikeThey were purchased last year some time by people interested in guns again. It was kinda a quiet deal, media was certainly not going to give it any attention!

Frank NowakowskiI know this has been beaten to death in the past but the former owners of S&W who bent over and took what Clinton gave them are the ones to blame. NOT the poor employees. And unfortunately when everyone abandoned S&W the people who payed were the employees.
I do agree though that its great to see one of our greatest American gun companies back again.

dan belisleYes, Pecos, it's good to see them come back. I've owned (and own) quite a few 'Smiths, and I'm glad they aren't being sold down the river again. Maybe now I can buy that Schofield with a clean conscience. Take care - Dan

Lone HunterYes, I agree. But as customers all we can do is vote with how we spend our money. I do feel bad for the employes. On another point I dont think K-Mart would be in trouble now if they had firred rossie when she oppened her mouth. They chose to stand behind her. I and my money went to Walmart instead. When a company takes a stand it has to be prepaired to pay the price. Maybe other companies will see what happens when they upset there customers. Lone Hunter
