500 MAG from MR. Clements
HI,
I have been waiting for this handgun for almost a year. I just got it in the other day and I am very happy with it. I will try to post some PICS as I sent them to MR. T. CARR, as he post all my PICS, as I am about as sharp as a bowling ball when it comes to this kind of computer stuff.I hope he will be able to post them soon. I tried to get a PIC of the sights as they are really great, they are night sights but I love the way they are set-up.And the antique micarta grips are very nice too. Thanks,Kev

Lee MartinClements work is excellent and definitely worth the wait. Have you shot it yet?
Lee Martin
www.singleactions.comI'm waiting till I finish Engineering school, then I'll have him build a 475 Long.
Kev,
I guess you mean .500 Long by .500 mag.
I'd like to see picture and to read your comments on Dave's work, by this end of year Dave will build me a .475 long.
T.Carr,
Thanks for posting pictures of this wonderful gun owned by Kev.
In seeing the frame of the gun I have seen that we talk about .500 Linebaugh and not the long one.
HI,
Thanks again T. Carr, yes it is the standard 500 Linebaugh, and I threw my Tomahawk in the picture too, it is from ATC. It is the Next generation Ranger Series. Thanks,Kev
That's a sweet looking gun, it almost makes me want to do some horse trading to get one now instead of waiting.
Anybody want a:
Ruger stainless Redhawk 5.5" 45colt,
Custom M-98 338 win, douglas, magnaport, leopold...
TC 45-70 12" SS hunter bbl,
The wife doesn't want me to trade the AutoMag, I almost had a Reeder African Hunter 500 for it, till she talked me out of it.
HI,
This gun also draws so DAM quick and is so nice to point, it makes me think it is a combat handgun. I just love this revolver there is no better than what MR. Clements makes. Thanks,Kev
Mr.Clements builds "500 Magnums"... which is the same as the 500 Linebaugh.. but he doesn't have to put another gunsmiths name on his guns (for which ever of many possible reasons)
Here's my 500... a simple "meat gun" as I like to call it. Older picture... It's funny, the more beat up it gets over the years the more I like it. It's my favorite and most accurate single action, probably my most accurate revolver period.

500grainsOK, bottom line guys, how much cash do I need to fork out to get a working, plain 500 Linebaugh from Mr. Clements with an adjustable rear sight, and probably a 6" barrel?

Best way is to contact him directly. He will reply you with the quote. For info, basic conversion is about $1400 and you supply the gun to Dave for conversion. Details here :http://www.clementscustomguns.com/handguns/ruger.htm
Here is his e-mail: dclem@ntelos.net
The Bowen rear sight is one of the best steel adjustable rear sight, and FA style for the front sight is great.
Lar45.. I wouldn't trade an Automag for a Reeder gun.
