MS HitmanIf he doesn't get on this thread soon, PM Whitworth. He has more experience with the BFR revolvers and should be able to answer your question.

PKWI recently purchased a BFR in 44 mag. It has rubber grips. The gun is a very fine piece of workmanship and shoots good too. I love it. Paul

505Gibbs2600I have a 454 BFR and the grips are not the same as the Ruger. Ruger grips will screw onto the BFR frame but the fit is unacceptable. Magnum Research's price and policy on their grips is terrible. Otherwise, great gun.

Big Wonderful WyomingAnyone know what it takes to convert a BFR to Bisley?
21 September 2015, 18:59
WhitworthIt' s a painful process adapting the Bisley to the BFR. The best fix is to let Jack Huntington perform his grip frame mods to it. Fixes it nicely and it's better than a Bisley in that you still get that vertical profile, but with a lot more room between your knuckles and the rear of the trigger guard.

Big Wonderful WyomingThanks Brother, I'll email him and find out if it is something I can financially get into before I throw down money for one of these beast.
My understanding is that they are a very high quality firearm.

BoxheadMine with Jack's mod though further tweaked for my hand by Alan Harton.
