What is a good scope mount for this thing, I am not 100% sure what I am going to use it for, but thought I would have a good time shooting prairie dogs and gophers with it if I had a scope on it.

I might even convert it to a Bisley if the parts work out well.

That is a tough one on the single six unless you want to drill and tap the topstrap. Sounds like one of the small caliber Hunter models with the integral scope mount cuts might be something you could look at. There may be a clamp on type mount but I am not familiar with one for the single six.

I didn't realize they made one, I'll find a hunter model and buy it. Thanks!

The Hunter Model sounds like the way to go for ease of use. Years ago, I had a Leopold base and rings on my Single Six. Worked like a charm, but had to drill and tap one hole in the top strap.

If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

A buddy of mine has a Hunter Model Single Six and can consistently hit "flickertails" (pocket gopher/large ground squirrel?) at 100 yards with it and a Leupold variable powered scope mounted on it. He's a hellofa handgun shooter but it proved to me the inherent accuracy of this platform.

A scoped Single Six .22 / .22 Mag. is a versatile handgun. Gordon Logan made this custom mount about 20 years ago for me:

I'm not really new. I had 1,000+ posts going back to 1996, when I suddenly found myself unable to Log In, in late 2013
