<sportyjohn>XP100?
I have a chance to buy an XP100 that was factory chambered in 7 BR. It was rechambered to a cartridge called a 7 Lazer which is a shorten 7-08 with a small primer pocket. The factory center grip stock has been painted black. Dies, brass and instructions are included.
I have no idea of its value. I only know that the owner can't sell it because of the odd-ball chambering. I have no problem with dealing with this wild cat. I have several tight neck and improved rifles at the present time.
I would like to use it on deer and antelope.
Your comments please and opinion of its value.
Thank much.

HcliffYou could contact JD Jones at SSK Industires and see what he thinks as he does custom XP-100 work himself. He is a nice fellow. I personally think it is work less than if it was left in a standard cartridge. I don't like the idea of the stock being painted. Detracts from value. Did they do that so it looks like a synthetic? Sorry I can't be of more help Good Luck
