Bushnell Elite 3200 2-6X scope on SRH
I purchased a new Bushnell Elite 3200 2-6X scope for my Ruger Super Redhawk 454 Casull today and I'm going to the range tomorrow to try it out.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this scope?

Yes I do. I have one mounted on my FA in .454. It has held up well. The scope has a long eye relief and many silhouette shooters use this model because of it. It should work well for you unless you have really short arms.

If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

I use this scope on my custom built Encore handgun in 7mm Remington mag. and it has held up just fine. I intend to get another one for my 378GNR Encore handgun as well. Its a great scope.

Can you tell me what loads you use in your 7mm Rem Mag? Mine does not have a brake and is 15 1/4" long. I also have a 300 win Mag that is 15 1/4", but it does have a brake on it.

Gator,

For the 140gr. Sierra BT its 72gr Reloader22 with 215 primers @2800fps in a 15"bbl.(2" of it is a muzzle brake) and R-P nickelplated brass.

For the 150gr. Combined Technology silver tip its 71gr of Reloader22, same primer and brass @2750fps.

Accuracy for both is 1"@100 yds. I prefer shooting the CT bullets since they provide a little more ummph and puts deer down right damn fast. The black tip also looks good in the NP brass.

Note: work up to these loads as they are close to max.
