Many of the callibers and loads that they published in earlier offering's aren.t there. There's no load data for 45 Lc in higher Presure guns like Rugers /TC and others. The last year I bought this magazine Is beleaved to be the 2005 varity in which they had
some pretty good info.Another thing that they did is list some of the prsure levels Copper unites of presure or C U P and p s I in the same table. What's with this. Arn't psi and cup
the same thing.Im confused Some loads are listed psi and others cup. Your thoughts

There is a formula to convert pounds per square inch to copper units of pressure, but it is complicated with lots of variables. They are NOT the same thing. I do not know the formula. sorry

the reason theres probably no high pressure ruger stuff anymore is the introduction of the smaller framed rugers. There probably worried about an inexperinenced handgunner not knowing the difference

45 Fan, you can find a discussion on CUP and psi on this page. It is true the nominal dimensions for "CUP" are psi, but because the copper crushers are known to read low at higher pressures, the term "CUP" was adopted to try to cue the reader that true pressure is not being reported. Conversion formulas are iffy here. Do not worry that Hodgdon is mixing CUP and psi readings. This simply means that they have replaced their CUP pressure barrel with a piezo sensor version, and new data is being shot with the more accurate piezo set up. In time, the older data with the other powders will be re-shot with the better pressure sensors.
