Well I finally went out and did some hunting today. Since the cold weather the deer are moving pretty good. I saw some MONSTERS...on private property!! Too bad they wouldn't cross the fence. I saw 3 different herds of 'Lope, 1 herd about 100 head, the other 2 were 50-60. I've never seen them in that area before...note to self!!!
Saw some very pretty country and some good animals.
I shot a whitetail doe @ 186yds...bad shot on my part. I guess it can be called doe fever also. She did drop on the spot but I went ahead and shot her again. 1st shot was high and spined her, 2nd shot = DRT.
I shot a 'Lope doe @350yds...ok shot. She was broadside facing right, but she turned her head to look back left right when I shot so the shot hit her in the side of the head. Not too happy about that but her head covered right where I was aiming. I had a steady rest and everything, sometime things happen. Anyway, here's the pics...it was a little cold this morning and I HATE THE COLD!!!! Sorry about the 2nd pic, I didn't have anybody around to take a better picture.
All in all, I had a great day. It was fun, even if I didn't kill anything. I guess my shooting could've been better.

MS HitmanGive the guy a break. He's having to deal with the fact that neither of the animals were chipmunks. Hasn't he suffered enough?
