Ok everybody looking for mounts for my S&W to mount an ultra dot though the catch is I would like the ability to remove it and have my irons, so i can plink.

What do you think for a mount for a smith, Who makes the best for weight and quality.

Years ago I used a Burris mount on my 629.

I then decided that it was just way to heavy with a scope on it. Didn't really make me any more accurate either.

Also it might be possible to take it off without removing the rings. I could check tomorrow if you want. It's boxed up in my storage room.
