Here's something that I wrote on a Ruger that I rebuilt with some help from John Gallagher. I think the gun turned out nicely and hopefully you enjoy the piece:

Neat article! John is one of the good guys when it comes to custom revolver work. He has turned a finish worn and beat up old 41 into a showpiece for me in kind of the same way. I stripped it down, flattened all the surfaces then John blued did the action work. He is just finishing up two more projects for me now with one more ready to head his direction.

Not yet, unfortunately, it never made it deer hunting with me but I'll take it looking for a hog soon.
