kjjm4Re: Favorite leather for you 6-shooter
I made my own holsters for my SA revolvers. I carry my .357 6 1/2" Blackhawk in a flap holster, and my EAA .44 mag in a single-loop holster. It's not very hard, and you can get a real custom fit and whatever else you want. So, I guess
I'm my favorite holster maker!

The rest of my revolvers and my Contender ride in various Uncle Mike's Nylon holsters.

Lar45I have a Bianchi X-15 that I use for all my non-scoped revolvers up to 7.5". I haven't found anything else that I like as much.

C1PNRI have some I made, some made for me by friends, a few Uncle Mike Nylon (that I seldom use),

and several Bianchi and Galco.

My favorite hunting rig is the Galco Phoenix PHX123 for my 6" Smith 57. It's a combination hip and cross-draw. I wear it cross-draw hunting as I am frequently driving the jeep.

Since I can't find any commercially made, I'll probably have to make my own for the 32-20 New Army Colt.

badgerrrI hate to sound too pedestrian but....I just haven't found a holster as handy as them old style leather Hunter rigs!
Have to root around in them "old leather" boxes in gun shoppes and shows for them...but the price is right.
Am anamored of the
quick detach style they had. It takes very little trouble in the field to switch sides you carry on...or take off/on the holster. This is quite handy if you have more than one sidearm in the field.

sputster1. Kramer hi-ride hip holster for my S&W Model 13
2. Bianchi Ranger...fits both my .41 MAg Blackhawk and my GP-100, can be worn as a strong side or a crossdraw.
Need to find a good hip or shoulder holster for a Springfield 1911-A1.

mcbI am quite happy with Milt Sparks 200AW for my four inch belt guns such as the Ruger GP-100 and S&W M629 Mtn. Gun. Still trying to sort out a proper rig for my Ruger Bisley Blackhawk, what with its 7-1/2 barrel. Good hunting! McB
