I tried Lil Gun in my .32 H&R mag and .454 Casull with mediocre results. I put the remainder of the can on the shelf and haven't messed with it since. I doubt it will beat out 296 and H110.

I read where it suppose to up the fps of the 240gr bullet in the 44 mag. I might try it but haven't yet.

I've found LilGun most effective in smaller capacity cases. Once the size gets over .357 Magnum, the benefits of lower pressure with high velocity seem to disappear. It is my favorite powder in .22 hornet and .25-20 but stick with H110/WW296 for .44 Mag. In the .357 it worked well enough but I got better accuracy with others.

I use Lil-Gun behind 360gr @ 1520fps and 395gr @ 1420fps Cast Performance WLNGC's in my 7.5" Ruger SRH 454 Casull.

Lil-Gun is an excellent, highly accurate, high velocity and my prefered powder for my top SRH 454 Casull loads.

I haven't tried it in my 44mag yet but that is only due to have an excellent load with H110.
