Anybody know of any places to hunt boar in Northern Ca? Seems like most everybody hunts on private reserves these days, not a whole lot of open land here.

While I was stationed at McClellan AFB, we used to go boar huntin at the Indian Valley resevior or Williams. Their used to be a lot of sign of pigs but it's public land and never saw any, to much hunting pressure. We did always limit out on quail. You will have better luck going down to Fort Hunter Ligget by Paso Robles. Give them a call you may still be able to hunt there.
