BFR Shooter, I just gotta ask.
I see that Freedom Arms is now marketing its Model 97 .22 rimfire pistol. Great looking gun and supposed to be quite accurate, but WHY would they only make it a 6 shooter. The cylinder looks huge around those tiny bores. Is that part of the reason for increased acccuracy?

No, it would also be accurate with more chambers. It is just based on six shooter custom.

Beautiful pistol from the side view. Just looks strange with those tiny bores. Bet it is a sweet shooter.

The .22 is supposed to be the cat's behind. I also like the .44. I don't like the other calibers.
Of all the calibers, the .22 is the hardest one to get accurate in a revolver. Freedom HAS made it work and I would love one.

George I can think of a better way to use $1900, than on a 22 FA. Big Grin

If you're going to make a hole, make it a big one.

The price is what stops me too. I can get along with my Mark II's! clap

I've got a couple of the FA 22s, great guns. But I also just got a Volquartsen MKII which I mounted a Microdot on, easy to hit .22 chickens with it offhand at 100 yds, but, admittedly not every shot.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

BTW since I got the Volquartsen, I got a MkII with a Tactical solutions Pac-lite barrel on it. Pretty cool looking and really feels good in the hand since it is significantly lighter (aluminum with steel sleeve). I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, (duck and deer season take precedence), but they are on sale right now. here
