2 revolver: S & W 629 4" and a Ruger SBH stainless 5 1/2" plus a scoped Encore.

Nothing against any other revolver cartridges but it's hard to imagine any are more versatile than 44 mag.

A .600 Nitro sixgun. A Classic Example of someone with more money than brains. Totally UNNECCESSARY. Wonder what the muzzle blast looks like after dark on THAT one. I'll just stick with my Bisleys. MY ego ain't that huge....

I wish I had that kind of money to waste, But that would be two Super blackhawks a year for 17 years.

John,
The 329PD is still my favorite to carry. Although compared to the others I've carried, I sure can't hit much with it... just ask Dettorre. I've shot 1" 3-shot standing unsupported groups with my 3" Trail Boss at 25 yards, but it weighs a whole lot more than the 329PD so its just too tempting to stick with it.

Michelle,
I'm just kidding about you "ratting me out". I know you're just as sick as the rest of us about collecting guns... and honestly my wife is pretty understanding about them.

Tony,
Before I looked at your user name I thought that collection sounded familiar. I've said many times, you've got good taste. You're especially smart not to bring the Anaconda's on hunts... as you know things are prone to "disappear" on hunting trips.

One of mine is also a Trail Boss, very comfy to shoot even with full power loads. Then again, my 454 is more comfy to shoot than the 329PD. I have been shooting off all my lead stuff, will be getting ready to load some non-lead stuff for hunting condor (oops meant in condor territory). Grumble Grumble California.

John,
Let me know when you're ready to load the nonlead stuff. I've gone through a lot of components and frustration working on those loads so I might be able to save you some trouble.

I own a Ruger SBH with a Burris 3x scope mounted. I had a Ruger Redhawk in 44 mag, but had it converted to 429 GNR.

29-2 6-1/2" P&R

Thinking about getting the 6" barrel replaced with a 4" for carry.

It is very well built and heavy. I like the adjustable sights and the red insert in the front sight. It has multiple clicks like a colt and you can roll the cylinder to load unlike a stock ruger which is good. I would say it is heavier constructed than a blackhawk. Very stout.
That said, I generally shoot a smith and wesson 29 about 90% of the time. The 29 with target grips fits my hand perfectly.

I honestly don't know but a pretty good pile of them. One of my favorites is a Leupie scoped FA I picked up used and somewhat abused pretty reasonable for a FA (which suits me to a T since I don't baby my guns).

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

Kyler, I "know" those sticks are way down deep in the back of your truck. The one's you gave me are better though. 44's are great, but the revolver I really like is my Anaconda 45 loaded with warmer loads I got from Handloader Mag and using Cast Performance bullets. 1350 fps with 335 grain gas checks. Less felt (I think) recoil.

I've got just one: a Colt Anaconda scoped with a 2x Burris handgun scope on it.

I have achieved superb accuracy with IMR 4227 and 240 gr. Sierra Sports Master hollow cavity bullet in this gun. It was printing in the .3" range at 25 yards when Itested it. However, Sierra has drastically cut handgun bullet production to include this bullet for the time being. It may be time to work up a new load.

I have 2 -- both 7 1/2" Ruger Super Blackhawks, one stainless, one blue.

But I wouldn't be opposed to having another. Smiler
