For those who like hollow points for hunting.......
For human targets in a defense situation there is nothing better then a quick expanding bullet from a .357 or the .45 ACP and .40 caliber. I don't think I would want to use the big bores for that unless you need to stop a car or truck too.
There is just no comparison between the big hunting guns and carry guns. Both are so different.
I don't like the idea of a boolit going through a BG and my whole house, all the furniture and anyone else in it.
This is a hunting forum after all.

It is Buffalo Bore factory ammo.
Item 2F 350gr Hawk JHP velocity 1500F.P.S.
As stated on the box, I am looking at one now.

The 440gr bullet was labeled as the E.W.N. [extra wide nose].

There is a need for a lighter kicking HP type load for a big bore hunting revolver, and that is when it is the ONLY handgun you have with you and you are in the city, where you might have to shoot some 2 legged varmints, and want to lessen the danger to non-combatents.

In Zim I carried a few Hornady 325gr 480 Ruger rounds for those occasions.

I knew that Grizzly Ammo loaded the Hawk bullet, but I was not aware that the 350 grain that Buffalo Bore loaded was the Hawk as well. I know now... thumb

I didn't realize that Buffalo Bore was also offering loads with Hawk bullets......now I know! Smart that you carried 325 grain hollow-points in Zim for two-legged predators!
