I'm curious after reading you carried under water. Did you ever shoot it down there? How was the 'concussion' if you did. I've always wondered about that.
Back in the early '60's I came up with a .22short revolver. Barrel wasn't a full inch long best I can recall. Grip about the size of my thumb, held five shots I think. Spit lead all over the place, I still have a piece in the palm of my hand from it. Accuracy was terrible.
I paid $15 for it and sold it for $20 after most of a box was fired thru it. Very hard to hold and stung my hang bad each shot. I didn't feel it was safe is why I got rid of it.
After reading these posts I'll start considering one of these modern little pistols again.
Thanks for the reply,
George
I think I read a review of the sorry revolver you are talking about.
In Gun Quarterly Magazine in the 60s.
Said it was less than $20 and highway robbery at that price.
Told everyone NOT to buy it. Lol
Didn't have to be so PC then.

RJMI've had I think four of the NAA guns. Sold two of the back in the 1980s but still have the two I bought in the 1990s...the two pictured above.
I think my favorite is the Black Widow. It is short, trigger pull is excellent and can be shot accurately. I have thought of switching out the grips for a standard wood Magnum set but the gun just shoots so well I'll probably just leave it alone.
One of my police partners loved the FA Minis... He was a diver and often went Cozumel on vacation. As he didn't like being unarmed he smuggled a .22 Short version there. Before he left he buried it in a can on the beach well above high tide....and when he came back there was a hotel sitting where his gun had been.

I have shot a 1911 in 45 ACP under water with no problems. The pistol worked fine, multiple shots, no malfunctions.
However, when I tried it with a Glock 40 I bulged the barrel on the first shot.
