hoofnitI believe the only style Blackburn / Swift is making currently is the one that requires relocating the front action screw. Williams has been out of business for several years. Sunny Hill appears to be the only option ( I currently have a transition model 70 I’m thinking about building into a 375 h&h so I was curious about the possibility’s.

airgun1I have a gunsmith friend with a couple of sets of Griffin & Howell bottom metal for pre 64 model 70's. I do not know anything about them other than he has a couple and is starting to get rid of stuff. Henis now 81 years old.

That’s only if you are needing a 375 H&H length that’s a standard depth

SabretoothYou will need to call and place an order. There is only one guy who does this for Swift Blackburn. Usually the factory magazine box requires a modification in order to get the bottom metal to fit.

bt8897Shipping probably isn’t bad but import tariffs and de minims could make it problematic right now
11 September 2025, 05:54
customboltAh yes. Anything containing steel, aluminum or copper is subject to a 50% tarrif and the de minims was suspended. Was not aware. Darn.

customboltOh darn. Was not aware. Suspended de minimis and 50% tariff on steel, copper or aluminum containing products. The word 'could' used herein is a bit confusing. Thought it was still "under $800. Sorry. CB
