Trying to get an old rifle up and shooting again. I know it's a long shot but I always have good luck searching for parts here. Condition just needs to be shootable.

You might try Turnbull. I would also look up gunsmiths that specialize in "old west" fireamrs, especially those who cater to SASS shooters. And you could also join SASS forums and post in their want to buy section. The last option maybe to see if it can be relined. Should work fine if you keep to the lower level lead bullet loads. Good luck in your quest.

John Taylor Machine comes highly recommended. Relining also saves all your original markings.

I can reline. Problem is, this barrel has been cut off short and the markings are already faint from refinishing. Not worth messing with and collectibility of the rifle is long gone. It will be getting new wood as well. Mysteriously, the wood has shrank, exposing the tangs. A few too many refinish jobs lol.

Look at a used 30-30 carbine barrel, and have it rebored and rifled

Winchesterbarrels.com. I think a bit pricey,IMO, but they have what you want.
