Rubber Armor replaced when Returned to Zeiss several years ago. Don't let individual focus put you off, they have a very generous depth of field. This binocular stands up well to any new midrange units in the market. Zeiss covered the armor replacement under warranty. They were sold with a lifetime warrantee.
