Krieger .224 caliber (.218/.224), 4-groove, stainless steel, 12" twist, fluted barrel blank. Sporter "A" contour/varmint weight. Overall length is 27", to finish at 26". Muzzle diameter is .820". Barrel is New but has been chambered for .220 Swift. Tenon/shank is 1.125" diameter x .730" long. Cylinder is 1.20" diameter x 2.060" long. 6 flutes. Shank diameter is large enough to fit Rem M700, Win M70, Rugers, M98s, and Savage rifles. Diameter of .220 Swift chamber is smaller than both .22-250 and .22 Creedmoor allowing barrel to be re-chambered for either by shortening shank approx. .25 inch and still have a cylinder length of about 1 3/4". List for barrel and fluting is $590. Sell for $400, post paid.
