LeopardtrackGamo MTS1000 Running target...I got one!!
I ordered from Gamo directly and recieved it today. Of course I assembled it and tried it out right away! My first impression is that it is awesome!! Works as advertized, and me and my daughter had alot of fun. There 3 speeds and a random speed setting.
My ONLY conscern is that there are alot of plastic parts, so we will have to wait and see how it holds up after being shot a few thousand times.
So far I love it!!

robthomWolfgar,
Thanks for the feedback.
I will have to get one now!
I should have guessed it would contain lots of plastic. I had hoped, optimistically, that it would consist of tin metal / thin mild steel. But it is not the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s!
I suppose 'we' could all go out and customize it, making a construction grade plywood barrier / cradle for it and a sheet of thick steel as a backstop, obtained from the blacksmiths?

LeopardtrackDon't get me wrong, it is a great product and ALOT of fun. It will really get you swinging the gun, especially if you put it back a way's so that you will need some lead for the slow moving pellets.
That said, I do wish that it was all metal. I can see the connectors getting shot off, and the track does move a bit when it is on for a while. Also the hinge that holds the target up (also swings down when hit) is also made of plastic, so I wonder how long it will last!

robthomI wonder if you can get 'consumable' replacement parts easily?
Otherwise, it is going to be like being given a really neat robot toy for Christmas, but no batteries.......
