robthomGammo 'running deer' target system
Does anyone have any experience / knowledge about these moving target sytems?
They look really neat, and in my narrow garden, are more practical than purchasing a 10m moving target system. Additionally, being able to take it up / put it down etc is a plus.
While Gammo are imported into the UK, the only information I can find is on the American importers' web-page.
Thanks.

www.gamo.comOnce in there, navigate your way to ?accesories or targets and it is the MS 1000 System or 1000 MS etc.
There is a short downloadable 'film', showing a man with a Blaser rifle demonstrating on his driveway how, practising with this, can help your deer hunting. Obviously, he actually uses an air rifle to shoot the target!
The target size and 'speed' represents a deer feeding, walking and running at 100 and 200 yrds, depending how far back you stand to shoot at the target. If I remember correctly, 12.5 yrds = 100 yrds.
The set up appears to be a battery powered 'buggy', supporting the target, which runs inside a track. Not unlike a cheap toy car / "Scalectrix (?spelling) set up.
There must be some kind of tilt / trip mechanism to reverse the direction of travel when it reaches the end of the 6ft run or is hit. When it is hit, the 'deer front on one side drops down and another pops up, facing the new direction of travel. The target buggy then travels back to its' starting point.
Hours / days of cheap, time wasting fun!
