Annealing nickel cases?
Is it possible to anneal nickel plated cases?

Why wouldn't it be ?. Still Brass with just a little nickel coating . To be honest I've never needed to anneal nickel cases , but see no reason it can't be done . They May turn ugly on you ?.

Some body on this forum knows and will post ASAP if I'm incorrect .

Interesting question, I’ve never annealed plated cartridge cases. This is just a question not a judgement, why do you need to anneal them?

I anneal cases all the time. When pulling the press handle takes variable pressure to seat the bullet after equivalent sizing, I figure the brass has work hardened or not to some degree and its time to anneal to restore uniformity after this firing. No diversity for me. I just started to work on sone 222 nickled and it will be the same story, nickel or not.

I really don't have a need to do it at this point, but I don't recall ever reading anything about this being done and was curious.
